The Mac Shift key

When held down at the start up, your Mac performs Safe boot (start up in Safe Mode). Pretty straight forward. Caps and numbers.

It can also be used in conjunction with the 'command', 'option' and 'control' keys.

Depending on your Mac and it's age the key name or symbol may change.
